This Viking West heavy duty direct link thumb provides increased excavator versatility when fitted with a bucket, blade or rake. Our heavy duty thumbs feature induction hardened and zinc plated pivot pins that delivers outstanding performance.
Induction Hardened Steel – Viking West heavy-duty thumb pivot pins are made from induction hardened 1045 steel for superior tensile, shear and yield strength and wear life of up to 10X longer that quench and tempered 4140.
Zinc Plating – Our heavy-duty thumb pivot pins are zinc electroplated to provide corrosion resistance and improved durability.
