What Is An ASRT?

ASRT (Advanced Solids Removal Technology) is a self-contained, mobile wastewater treatment unit designed to treat complex wastewater streams in locations where traditional infrastructure is unavailable or impractical.

Each system integrates multiple treatment stages into a single engineered platform, delivering complete treatment from influent to discharge.

A true mobile treatment plant, ready to deploy where you need it.

Performance

ASRT systems deliver complete, compliant wastewater treatment:

  • Achieves up to 99–99.9% TSS removal
  • Produces effluent turbidity of <1–5 NTU after full treatment and polishing
  • Significant reduction of BOD, COD, nutrients, and pathogens (application dependent)
  • Enables water reuse and reduces hauling volumes by 50–90%
  • Delivers consistent compliance across highly variable wastewater streams

Result: Turnkey wastewater treatment with dependable, compliant outcomes.

How It Works

ASRT systems combine Clearflow Gel Flocculant treatment with Fat, Oil and Grease treatment with lamella clarification and advanced disinfection into one continuous, integrated process.

  1. Collection & Equalization – Incoming wastewater is buffered and batched for consistent treatment
  2. Pre-Treatment – FOG conditioning prepares fats, oils, and grease for downstream removal
  3. Adaptive Flocculation – Gel flocculant reactors introduce self-dosing chemistry for solids aggregation
  4. Flocculation & Separation – Flocculation tanks and lamella clarification remove suspended solids
  5. Advanced Treatment – Ozone and CO₂ provide disinfection, oxidation, and pH adjustment
  6. Polishing – Multi-stage filtration and optional UV refine final water quality
  7. Discharge or Reuse – Treated water exits compliant and ready for discharge or reuse

Complete, containerized treatment—delivering reliable performance across variable conditions.

Core Technologies

Clearflow Gel Flocculants

Adaptive chemistry that responds to changing water conditions

  • Adaptive Self-Dosing – Self-dosing and self-limiting chemistry responds proportionally to flow and solids loading without dosing pumps or calibration.
  • Broad Treatment Capability – Effective across a wide pH range (3–12) and variable water conditions for the reduction of TSS, metals, and phosphorus.
  • Tailored Chemistry – Multiple Gel Flocculant formulations are available to address different solids, particle types, water chemistry, and contaminants.
  • Lab-Validated Selection – Testing with representative site water identifies the optimal formulation and validates expected treatment performance before deployment.

FOG Conditioning (FOG Lynx)

Pretreatment technology that conditions fats, oils and grease before flocculation, making these difficult contaminants easier to capture and separate.

  • Effective Mixing – A top-mounted mixer evenly distributes FOG Lynx chemistry throughout the wastewater to promote contact with dispersed and emulsified contaminants.
  • Improved FOG Capture – Conditioning destabilizes fine FOG droplets and helps them associate with suspended solids, producing larger, more cohesive particles.
  • Enhanced Flocculation – Conditioned wastewater moves to the Gel Flocculant Reactor, where FOG and suspended solids combine into larger, readily separable flocs.

Engineered Gel Flocculant Reactors

Controlled hydraulics that unlock the performance of the chemistry

  • Optimized Water–Gel Interaction – Engineered inline hydraulics create the velocity, turbulence, and swirl needed for effective contact with the Gel Flocculant.
  • Cartridge-Based Delivery – Pre-loaded Gel Flocculant Cartridges provide a convenient, tool-free method for loading, monitoring, and replacing consumables.
  • Passive Chemical Delivery – Adaptive Gel Flocculant dosing occurs directly within the water flow without conventional chemical pumps, mixing tanks, or calibration.
  • Inline Integration – Compact reactors connect directly into the treatment flow, providing a simple and reliable transition to downstream floc growth and clarification.

ARC-Core™ Lamella Plate Clarifier

High-rate solids separation in a compact footprint

  • Accelerates Solids Settling – Inclined ARC-Core™ settling plates provide increased effective settling area, enabling solids separation 3–5X faster than conventional settling tanks.
  • Reduces Process Volume – High-rate clarification requires significantly less in-process water volume than traditional settling methods.
  • Maximizes Treatment Capacity – Compact plate geometry provides substantial settling surface area within a small system footprint.
  • Simplifies Operation – No moving parts or process power requirement supports reliable operation with minimal maintenance and operator intervention.

Multiphase Disinfection

Integrated ozone and CO₂ treatment for disinfection and final water conditioning

  • Ozone Disinfection – Uses ozone for high-efficiency pathogen reduction without conventional chemical disinfectants.
  • pH Control & Stabilization – CO₂ provides controlled pH adjustment to condition treated water prior to final polishing or discharge.
  • Water Quality Enhancement – Oxidation helps reduce color, odor and residual organic compounds, improving final treated-water quality.
  • Clean Treatment Process – Ozone breaks down without leaving harmful chemical residuals, supporting environmentally responsible disinfection.

Advanced Water Polishing

Multi-stage polishing that enhances final treated-water quality

  • Fine Solids Filtration – Sand filtration captures residual fine suspended solids to improve final water clarity and turbidity.
  • Dissolved Contaminant Removal – Adsorbent media provides an additional treatment barrier for targeted dissolved contaminants remaining after clarification.
  • Final Water Quality Enhancement – Multiple polishing stages work together to improve treated-water quality prior to discharge or reuse.
  • Optional UV Disinfection – UV treatment provides a final disinfection barrier for additional pathogen control where required.
